KING COUNTY, Wash. — One person is dead following a shooting on Friday afternoon in the Renton area, the King County Sheriff’s Office confirmed.
Deputies responded to reports of a shooting around 2:40 p.m. in the 16400 block of Southeast Renton-Issaquah Road, according to the KCSO.
When deputies arrived, they found one person dead at the scene. The King County Medical Examiner’s Office will release the victim’s identity and cause of death at a later time, according to the KCSO.
The sheriff’s office said its Major Crimes Unit is leading the investigation, according to the KCSO.
