AN A-list celebrity shocked fans when they spotted her shopping alone at a local grocery store.
The shocking encounter occurred earlier this week at the upscale grocery chain Erewhon Market in Los Angeles, California.
A fan named Drew Staten shared photos on Instagram from the moment he stumbled upon iconic pop star Mariah Carey, 56, pushing a shopping cart through the aisles.
The five-time Grammy Award winner was apparently scouring the shelves for honey when fans recognized her.
Mariah graciously snapped photos with surprised shoppers while dressed in full glam.
The We Belong Together singer rocked a plunging black minidress, a black leather jacket, black stockings, and black knee-high leather boots.

She styled her long blond hair in loose waves and had a full face of makeup for the outing.
“Just strolling along. Not buying a thing. Looking like a million dollars,” Drew added in the comments, where he also revealed that Mariah’s cart was entirely empty when he and his friends spotted her.
“My friend asked her why she was there, and she replied, ‘I don’t know,’” he also shared while confirming that it was, in fact, Mariah and not an imposter.
It isn’t every day that the legendary singer, who was recently nominated for induction into the 2026 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, is seen running errands without her team in tow.
