More than 50 days after her beloved mum disappeared, Savannah Guthrie has given her first interview about the pain she’s going through.

The TV host’s mother, Nancy, 84, went missing from her home in Tucson, Arizona, on February 1, and there have yet to be any leads in the case.

Speaking with her co-star on Today, Hoda Kotb, Savannah told how her family has been ‘in agony’ for the past two months and said that she wakes up every night crying for her mum.

‘Someone needs to do the right thing. We are in agony. We are in agony. It is unbearable,’ Savannah said. ‘To think of what she went through. I wake up every night in the middle of the night, every night.’

She continued: ‘In the darkness, I imagine her terror. And it is unthinkable, but those thoughts demand to be thought. And I will not hide my face. But she needs to come home now.’
