The Great Celebrity Bake Off returns with a brand new series tonight – as six famous faces step into the iconic test in the hopes of impressing judges Paul Hollywood and newcomer Cherish Finden.

The internationally renowned pastry chef is well known among the Bake Off family, as she is also a judge on Bake Off: The Professionals.

Tonight (22 March), the first group of celebrities attempt breakfast pastries and matcha and yuzu biscuits, before recreating the weirdest places that they’ve ever slept, in cake form.

JoJo Siwa is a singer and dancer who first rose to fame after appearing on Dance Moms. Since then, she has gone from strength to strength, having appeared in various Nickelodeon TV shows and even her own film.

But her career hustle hasn’t stopped there, with the 21-year-old having launched a successful music career. Her song Boomerang has over 1 billion views on YouTube, but the singer has recently moved on in her music career, releasing songs for an older audience.

She appeared on a recent series of Celebrity Big Brother, introducing herself to new audiences across the UK.

Molly-Mae Hague

Job: Influencer and businesswoman

Molly-Mae Hague is an influencer and businesswoman who rose to fame in 2019 after appearing on Love Island, finishing as runner-up alongside Tommy Fury.

Since then, she was catapulted into superstardom, gaining millions of fans, and has since appeared in her own documentary, Behind it All, on Prime Video. It went on to win a National Television Award in the authored documentary category.

Vicky Pattison

Vicky Pattison is a TV personality, radio host and author who first rose to fame on Geordie Shore in 2011, on which she starred for three years until 2014.

She then appeared in another MTV show, Ex on the Beach, in both 2014 and 2015, before going on to have her own show, Judge Geordie.

In 2015, she gained a whole new fan base after she won the 15th season of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, which saw her career skyrocket.

Since then, she has taken part in Strictly Come Dancing in 2025, and was paired with Kai Widdrington.

Scott Mills

Job: Broadcaster

Scott Mills is a radio DJ and presenter, best known for hosting BBC Radio 1 from 2004 to 2022. Nowadays, fans can tune in to hear him on BBC Radio 2.

He is also the voice of Eurovision for many, offering his expertise and coverage on the audio waves during the competition.
In 2024, he took part in Celebrity Race Across the World alongside his husband Sam Vaughan – which they went on to win!

Sam Thompson

Sam Thompson is a TV personality best known for appearing on Made in Chelsea from 2013 to 2021. His other reality TV appearances include Celebrity Big Brother, in which he came third place, as well as Celebrity Coach Trip and Celebs Go Dating.
More recently, he appeared on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! 2023 in which he charmed the nation and became the ‘King of the Jungle’.

Rag ‘n’ Bone Man

Rag ‘n’ Bone Man, real name Rory Charles Graham, is a singer who rose to fame following the release of his hit single Human in 2016. He followed up the single with an album in 2017, and it became the fastest selling debut album by a male in the UK for the decade.

That year, he won big at the BRIT Awards, Echo Awards and the NRJ Music Awards. Since then, he has released two more album, the latter of which debuted at number one on the UK albums chart and was in the top 10 for seven weeks.

Aston Merrygold

Job: Singer and dancer

Aston Merrygold is a singer who is best known for being a member of boyband JLS, who finished as runners-up in The X Factor in 2008.

As a member of JLS, Merrygold achieved five number one singles and a number one album. Following the band’s hiatus, Merrygold released a single and went on to take part in Strictly Come Dancing.

He also made his theatre debut in The Wizard of Oz UK tour as the Tin Man, and later reprised the role in the West End.

Edith Bowman

He has also taken part in 8 Out of 10 Cats, Have I Got News for You and Mock the Week. Last year, he also took part in Last One Laughing UK and The Celebrity Traitors, though didn’t manage to make it to the final rounds of either.

Babatunde Aléshé

Rose Matafeo

Rose Matafeo is a New Zealand comedian who is best known for creating and starring in BBC Three’s Starstruck.

She has competed on shows like Taskmaster, Hypothetical and Richard Osman’s House of Games, and appeared on Big Fat Quiz of the Year and QI. More recently, she worked alongside Mike Wozniak hosting Junior Taskmaster.

She has taken part in Celebrity Bake Off before, having appeared on the series in 2023.

Judi Love

Tom Davis

Tom Davis is a comedian and actor who rose to fame for his role as DI Sleet in BBC Three’s Murder in Successville, before later appearing in King Gary as Gary King.

Since then, he has appeared in a number of movies and TV shows including Paddington 2, Wonka, A League of Their Own and A Thousand Blows.

Like Matafeo, he has taken part in Celebrity Bake Off before, having appeared on the series in 2023.

Mark Wright

Mark Wright is a TV personality best known for being a cast member on The Only Way Is Essex.

He then reached further stardom after appearing on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! where he finished as runner-up, before then appearing on Strictly Come Dancing where he reached the final.

Nella Rose

Nella Rose found fame after setting up her YouTube channel in 2016, sharing videos of her life at university, which quickly spawned into a successful social media career.

Following her YouTube success, Nella has gone on to host the red carpet at the BRIT Awards, and fronted the Channel 4 digital series Tapped Out.

Her other work includes being a presenter on Catfish UK, alongside Oobah Butler, being a part of the Pressed podcast on BBC Radio 1Xtra, as well as various appearances on Footasylum’s YouTube videos.

In 2023, Nella appeared on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here, though became the second celebrity to be eliminated.

Mutya Buena

Mutya Buena is a singer and songwriter, best known for being a member of the Sugababes. After leaving the girl group in 2005, Mutya released her solo album Real Girl before returning to the band in 2012.

During her career as a solo artist and band member, Mutya has won Best British Dance Act, Best Live Music, Best Single and more recently, an Impact Award.

Her TV work includes Celebrity Big Brother and Celebrity MasterChef.

Rose Ayling-Ellis

Rose Ayling-Ellis is an actress best known for playing Frankie Lewis on EastEnders, a turning point for the soap, as Rose was the show’s first Deaf character. She also appeared in Casualty, where she played Bianca Sinclair.

She later appeared on Strictly Come Dancing and won alongside Giovanni Pernice, where notably their couple’s choice contemporary dance, featuring an added period of silence as a tribute to the deaf community, received uproarious applause.

She has since appeared in Code of Silence as Alison, a deaf woman who while working in a police canteen is approached by a detective, whose team need her impeccable lip-reading skills to help bring down a dangerous gang.

Ambika Mod
