While everyone has been hoping for a new romance for Nicole Kidman after her divorce from Keith Urban, it’s just been a bunch of rumors (until now)!
In details obtained by The Sun, it seems Kidman was spotted getting cozy with her Scarpetta co-star and longtime pal, Simon Baker.

Apparently, earlier this month, they were spotted holding hands and cozying up together at the Scarpetta afterparty in NYC.
“Nicole and Simon’s closeness is definitely the talk of the town right now. They’re incredible together on screen, and when you see them together in real life, that chemistry clearly wasn’t faked,” an inside source said. “At the afterparty, they stayed close all night and were deep in conversation.”
Now, before starring together as husband and wife in Scarpetta, they’ve worked together on the show Roar. Not only that, but Kidman is actually the godmother to one of Baker’s sons, whom he shares with his ex-wife, Rebecca Rigg.
(Specifically, she’s the godmother to Harry Baker, and is also a godparent to Grace and Chloe, the two youngest daughters of media mogul Rupert Murdoch and Wendi Murdoch.)
Not much else is known about this reported romance, but it seems they’re already quite close.

For those who don’t know, Kidman and Urban met back in Jan 2005 during the G’Day USA gala. They didn’t date til months later, and then they got engaged the following year. The lovebirds married a month later in 2006 and welcomed two daughters, Sunday, born in July 2008, and Faith, born in Dec 2010.
Then, in late 2025, their shock split was announced, and subsequently, Kidman filed for divorce from Urban. They finalized their divorce and custody agreement in Jan 2026.
And now, it seems she’s moved on!
