BJP Member of Parliament Nishikant Dubey has described the Congress party, especially its long-standing Nehru-Gandhi leadership, as the fundamental cause of India’s national problems. Dubey, in an interview with ANI, underscored issues of alleged infiltration, tracing them back to historical decisions made by the Congress.
Dubey pointed to an allegedly clandestine agreement between former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and Bangladesh’s Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in 1972, which he claims allowed unfettered entry for Bangladeshi citizens. This, he argues, is the root of the infiltration issues troubling states like Bihar, Assam, and even metropolitan areas like Mumbai and Delhi.
The BJP leader praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for committing to eradicating infiltrators from India. He criticized Congress for engaging in vote bank politics at the expense of national sovereignty, particularly citing historical contexts that have allegedly contributed to present demographic shifts.
