The road to the finale of “Big Brother Mzansi” season 6 is getting tighter, with three housemates officially locking in their spots in the final week.

Following Sunday’s live eviction show, King Wanda and The Don became the latest housemates to exit the “Big Brother Mzansi: Bazozwa” house.

These two played their game and managed to stay in the competition for a good eight weeks. 

Week nine began with some surprising twists. Trixie, Thandeka and Liema were the first contestants to secure spots in the finale, leaving just two or three positions open before the Top 5 or Top 6 is finalised, depending on Big Brother’s decision. 

The latest developments followed a grueling endurance challenge that pushed the housemates to their physical limits on Monday, March 9.

It began with a ‘Food or Foe’ wager, in which the Top 8 faced tasks designed to push them out of their comfort zones – from eating raw onions to drinking castor oil. 

The housemates then had to sit in ice-cold water for as long as possible, testing both their mental and physical endurance.

One by one, contestants dropped out as they struggled to handle the freezing temperatures.

In the end, it came down to Thandeka and Trixie, who outlasted the rest of the group. Their determination earned both women a golden ticket straight to the finale.

While this challenge secured two finalist spots, the third was decided during a twist on the eviction show, where the current Head of House, Ashay, spun a wheel that gave Liema the final place in the finale. 

With just one week to go, the remaining housemates must battle for the final spots in the finale, and the competition is intensifying by the day.
