Jojo and her husband have started a YouTube channel to document their journey.

Reality television star JoJo Robinson is over the moon following her husband Calvin Robinson’s retirement after four decades of work.

She took to Instagram to celebrate the milestone and his achievements in a lengthy post.

Calvin Robinson, whom she affectionately calls “Boo Bear”, is a former mixed martial arts fighter and businessman.

He owns the KwaZulu-Natal butchery franchise Bluff Meat Supply.

He has also reportedly invested in the real estate and service delivery sectors.

Retirement after 40 years

In the post, JoJo Robinson reflected on Calvin’s long career.

“After 40 years of long hours and days, my Boo Bear has officially clocked out for good,” she wrote.

“I’m so proud of what you have achieved and the life you have given us, and I’m so glad you get to spend the rest of your life enjoying that with your family.”

Jojo said her husband never planned to work until old age made it impossible.

“Calven never intended to work until old age wouldn’t let him anymore, because by the time you get there, it’s harder to enjoy what you worked for,” she wrote.

She added that the family is grateful for his efforts over the years.

“We’re so proud and so grateful. I’ve never met anyone who worked the way you did, apart from your dad, of course. The Robinson blood was strong.”

YouTube channel

Jojo also shared that they have launched a YouTube channel to document their retirement journey.

“Cheers to new chapters. And being ‘Retired with the Robinsons’ in the new age of retirement and what that looks like,” she wrote.

“Let the forever holiday begin.”
