Fans think Selena Gomez just subtly defended her husband, Benny Blanco, following the whole ‘dirty feet’ controversy.
For those who aren’t familiar with their relationship, the 33-year-old singer and 37-year-old music producer got married back in September after Blanco got down on one knee the previous December, following two years of dating.
Since their stunning, intimate ceremony in Santa Barbara, California, the smitten celebrity couple has been sharing snippets of their lives together with their social media followers.
However, Blanco’s latest project has caused somewhat of a stir online, all because of his feet. Yes, really.
Straying away from music, the star launched a podcast on Tuesday (24 February), called Friends Keep Secrets, with his pals and co-hosts Dave Burd aka Lil Dicky, and the rapper’s wife, Kristin Batalucco.
It hasn’t exactly been advertised as your average podcast and has instead been dubbed as ‘a first-of-its-kind show,’ with the unique concept of more than 18 hidden cameras being rigged throughout Dave and Kristin’s LA home, bringing viewers inside ‘an intimate hang with the hosts’ real-life friendships.

And their intentionally unfiltered format certainly started with a bang, as everyone has been talking about it – but for all the wrong reasons.
Within minutes of the pilot episode, Blanco was seen lying across the sofa with his legs stretched out, showing a glimpse of the bottom of his feet, which seemed to be covered with dirt.
He also farted, which was left in the edit, and fans think it was just a tiny step too far on the gross scale.
The screenshots of the music producer’s feet and the farting clip quickly did the rounds online, with viewers writing on social media: “There’s a difference between funny and gross,” and “Absolutely heinous”.
Some particularly cruel fans also dragged his wife, Gomez, into the conversation; however, it seems that she’s firmly shut down any hate against her hubby.
On Wednesday (25 February), the Wizards of a Waverely Place star shared a sweet video of herself and Blanco on her Instagram Story.
It appeared to be taken during their Valentine’s Day celebrations and showed the couple going in for a kiss, before Gomez planted a few more kisses on her lover’s cheek.
She wrote alongside the video: “I fall more and more in love with you every day, my love.”

So there you go, anyone questioning their marriage has been firmly told!
Reacting to the post, one Reddit user quipped: “The dirty feet gave me the permanent ick, but it’s nice she’s defending him, I guess.”
While a second agreed: “Honestly, if he’s treating her well and is a good person, who tf cares??? Humans fart. Humans sometimes have dirty feet.”
It comes after the pair celebrated Valentine’s Day and shared some loved-up snaps with their followers to reveal what they got up to.
One black and white photo showed Gomez posing with an elaborate bouquet of roses, followed by another of her sitting outdoors at a table covered with Valentine’s decorations.
The singer was even treated to her own bespoke hot dog cart that had been wheeled into her Los Angeles garden, as the duo tucked into some gourmet hot dogs, fries, and nacho sauce – obsessed!
