South African music producer and radio personality DJ Speedsta is facing online backlash after he shared a cryptic post on X following the announcement of his rumoured girlfriend Shamiso Mosaka’s new gig on the “Podcast and Chill Network”.

Mosaka was announced as one of the hosts of a new show called “Read the Room” alongside reality TV star Londie London and entertainment commentator Phil Mphela.

“The Podcast and Chill Network” unveiled its reshuffle on Tuesday, February 24, which included the launch of new shows and new presenters joining the network.

While everyone was in celebration mode, DJ Speedsta, whose real name is Lesego Nkaiseng, quoted the video of the announcement with a cryptic message that is believed to be a jab at Ayanda Thabethe, his baby mama’s sister. 

“Yaaaaa! Tell the other lady about her own marriage; leave the young working lady alone. People break up all the time!” the 33-year-old captioned his post.

This post led to fans trying to decode who he is referring to, while some fans were questioning his motive to share this message when he could have simply congratulated his rumoured bae.

“Choosing to drag Ayanda in a moment meant to congratulate your woman is wild. Amadoda aphelile shame sukesele ama samples (real men no longer exist, only samples are left,” @UminathiZulu commented.

“So unlike you, you’re probably running a promo for your girl at the expense of your baby mama and child?” @Lonni_dynast wrote.

“You could’ve just said congratulations to your girl and went about your day??” @Kabelo_Kekana93 shared.

Although DJ Speedsta keeps his romantic life out of the limelight, his break-up with popular influencer and the mother of his child, Lungile Thabethe, made headlines in 2025.

Rumours that the pair secretly brokeup just a few months after welcoming their daughter, Liyana, started circulating on social media.

Shortly after the breakup rumours, new speculations were going around about DJ Speedsta allegedly dating Mosaka.

While the pair did not address the speculations, Lungile’s sister, Ayanda, at the time threw shade at Mosaka after DJ Speedsta reportedly bought Mosaka a Louis Vuitton bag.

Ayanda then decided to post the same bag with the caption: “Let’s play a game.”
