Terming the demonstration “shameful,” Rijiju claimed the protest by the Congress youth wing was not a mistake but a “well-thought-out conspiracy” to malign India.
“The Congress committed a big sin against the country by sending its youth wing to protest at the AI Summit,” he said at a press conference at the BJP headquarters here.
“Using youths to defame the country – nothing could be more shameful than this,” he added.
Rijiju further said that while the country was condemning the protest, Congress leaders remained unapologetic.
