Katie is currently on her honeymoon with fourth husband Lee Andrews, whom she married after reportedly only knowing him a week.

Katie Price shocked friends, family, and fans in January by announcing she had tied the knot with Dubai-based businessman Lee Andrews after only knowing him for a few days. Now on their honeymoon, Katie’s ex-husband Alex Reid has shared that it is really like to honeymoon with the former glamour model.

Following the new couple’s whirlwind engagement and marriage last month, the mum-of-five returned to the UK shortly afterwards without Lee. Following speculation that the nuptials were fake, despite the couple regularly posting about the other on social media, Katie has since returned to Dubai for their honeymoon.

Sharing a series of posts on their Instagram accounts, the pair seem to be making the most of their time together. One video even captures the pair saying “never underestimate the Pricey.”

While the couple travel around Dubai, Katie’s ex-husband Alex Reid has opened up about what it is really like to honeymoon with the reality star. The former couple tied the knot in early 2010 after six months of dating, holding not one but two weddings.

Their first wedding was held in Las Vegas, which Alex described as a “whirlwind”. Speaking to The Mirror, he said: “I tried to be open-minded, but looking back, I realised that it was less about romance and more about showbiz.

“I’ve learned a lot since then. And what I really want is a connection and intimacy. I definitely grew from those experiences, but I didn’t get that with Katie.”

The 50-year-old added that while in Vegas the couple went to a strip club together, which at first he thought “would be cool”. He explained: “When we went to Vegas, we even went to a strip club.

“And I thought this would be cool. It would be a bit like a stag do, a hen do, and a wedding party all rolled in one.

“I was kind of going along with the flow and it was a spur-of-the-moment thing. It was an adventure, and it was exciting.”

However, his feelings quickly changed as he felt that it had made him a “lamb to the slaughter” in the media, given his relative inexperience with the press.

He said: “The thing is, I was not used to being in the media. I was a lamb to the slaughter. I was a champion mixed martial arts cage fighter, I was a baby when it came to the media.”

A strip club seemed to be a regular occurance for the couple as they visited one on their second honeymoon, which Alex felt wasn’t any better than the first.

He said: “We also got married at our home in Woldingham. And I remember my wedding night, speaking to my mum, and I was upset.

“I said to my mum, ‘I haven’t even spoken to Kate all day.’ I think I said two words to her. Then I was on my honeymoon. And again, we ended up in another strip club. And I’m like, and I should have learnt my lesson, but I went along with it.

“And I thought, you know, because I’m a geezer, I can do this. But in the end, I’m not a geezer. I don’t like that sort of stuff.

“I mean, I’ve gone along with it. I’ve been to strip clubs, but I don’t enjoy it. It wasn’t my choice to go to either. That was Kate that wanted to go to the strip club.”

While the former couple’s marriage was seen to be short lived in the eyes of the public, with Alex and Katie getting married in February 2010 before officially splitting up in January 2011, it seems that struggles in the relationship popped up very early on.

Alex recalled falling out with Katie during their Vegas honeymoon. He said: “So I’m going to a strip club. And then the next thing, Kate has kind of left me and trying to get a job in a strip club with the manager.

“And I’m like, ‘Are you joking?’ I was really angry. And I said, ‘I’m going home.’ She left with me, but I was like, ‘That’s not on.’ So we had an argument in Vegas.”

Katie’s marriage to Lee seems to be moving in the right direction through the lens of social media, with Katie also thought to be thinking about staying in Dubai for good. Reports suggest that she has even put money down for a property.
