Grammy-winning rapper Cardi B is dropping hints that she might join Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny on stage as her boyfriend, Stefon Diggs, plays in the NFL championship

Cardi B has shared a huge hint that she could be joining Bad Bunny on stage at this year’s Super Bowl halftime show.

Bad Bunny, 31, is set to headline the highly anticipated performance during the championship game on Sunday, February 8, between the New England Patriots, Cardi’s boyfriend Stefon Diggs’s team, and the Seattle Seahawks.

The rapper, 33, fueled the rumors while attending the 2026 Fanatics Super Bowl Party, where she was asked by a journalist how exciting it would be to perform with Bad Bunny. The mom-of-four simply replied, “That would be exciting,” a response many fans took as a strong hint.

Social media quickly reacted to the moment, with one fan writing, “Yeah, Bad Bunny is definitely bringing her out,” while another added, “I hope Bad Bunny brings out my girl — she looks beautiful, you can tell she’s happy.” A third commented, “She’s definitely performing, she looks so nervous.”

A fourth social media user joked, “She’s definitely performing, this is her ‘I know something you don’t’ face.” Bad Bunny’s upcoming stint follows last year’s headline-grabbing halftime show, which saw Kendrick Lamar take the stage alongside SZA, raising expectations for another star-studded performance this year.

Cardi has had a major year both in her professional and personal life. She welcomed a baby boy late last year with NFL star Stefon Diggs, who will be playing in the game on Sunday. She also has three children from her marriage to rapper Offset: daughter Kulture, 7, son Wave, 4, and daughter Blossom, 1.

Cardi is also preparing to launch her first headlining arena tour in six years. The tour kicks off on February 11 in Palm Desert, California, and comes on the heels of her second studio album, Am I the Drama?, released in September. Cardi B’s last major concert tour was in 2019, following the release of her Invasion of Privacy album.

Speaking about her tour, she said, “I feel really confident,” adding, “Knowing the fans are going to be there and know the music. It’s exciting.”

In January, the “WAP” rapper hopped on Instagram Live and revealed that even after redoing the budget for her tour, she was still over by a couple of million dollars and needed to find the money elsewhere.

The Grammy-winning artist said she could fund it herself to make sure she put on the proper show she planned for her fans.

She added, “I ain’t no d— Beyoncé, so don’t be expecting any of that. I don’t got that production money, but b—, I’m gonna give it all I got. I’m working hard, I’m popping it. This tour is catered to BardiGang, and to people who are not even BardiGang but are some type of fan of mine or just wanna have a good time.”

She also made headlines by skipping this year’s Grammy Awards, despite being nominated for Best Rap Performance.

Meanwhile, Bad Bunny heads into the Super Bowl fresh off a big win at the 2026 Grammys, where he took home Album of the Year for Debí Tirar Más Fotos.
