Super Bowl LX has drawn a wave of A-listers – from movie and TV personalities, celebrity chefs and chart-topping musicians – making the region a hot spot for star sighting.
Check out who we’ve spotted so far ahead of the big game at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara on Sunday, Feb. 8.
David Letterman in Union Square
The San Francisco Sheriff’s Office shared a photo to Instagram of the late-night talk show host posing with four officers across from the Omega store on Geary Street. Letterman had his arms around the shoulders of two officers, smiling and dressed down in sneakers and a white T-shirt.
Pharrell Williams in the Inner Sunset
The music mogul, who recently received the Dr. Dre Global Impact Award at the 68th annual Grammy Awards, was spotted dining at San Tung in the Inner Sunset on Wednesday, Feb. 4.
Frank Chu, son of the restaurant’s owner Kuo Fong Chu, confirmed with the Chronicle that Williams and his entourage dined in a private room.
The Chinese restaurant is known to serve some of San Francisco’s best chicken wings, and it seems the “Happy” singer agrees. One TikTok user shared a video of him shaking hands with a woman and saying, “Lovely. It was fantastic.”

The musicians performed at the pop-up event for Dante’s Inferno, a new venue set to open on Market Street in the fall. The event was hosted at 111 Minna Gallery, as the nightclub is still under construction.
During his headlining performance, .Paak, who was DJing under his alto ego Pee .Wee, welcomed Oakland rapper Too Short to the stage for a handful of his hits. Later in the evening, during San Francisco DJ Noodles’ set, Bay Area rappers P-Lo and Larry June took turns hitting the stage for surprise performances as well.

The celebrity chef and Bay Area native, was filmed talking to fans outside of Fox Tale Fermentation Project in San Jose.
“It’s been 15 years since we shot San Jose for triple D,” he said in a clip shared Thursday, Feb. 5, referring to his “Diners, Drive-Ins, & Dives” show. “I don’t know if you’ve ever been to this place, but it’s a trip and it’s great. … The food’s next level”
The experimental brewery and restaurant opened in 2022 and focuses on creating unconventional beers and fermented bites.
Fieri is set to host his annual family-friendly Flavortown Tail Gate ahead of kick off on Sunday at Cow Palace.

The husband-and-wife duo of New York Giants quarterback Russell Wilson and “1-2 Step” singer Ciara was seen enjoying a pop-up dining experience hosted by Southern Italian restaurant Rao’s at Park Tavern in North Beach.

The NFL stars took over the South of Market arcade bar Thriller Social Club for a private party sponsored by their joint “New Heights” podcast on Wednesday, Feb. 4. Celebrities that hit the spot, called Kelce Club for the night, included “Workaholics” stars Anders Holm, Blake Anderson and Adam DeVine.
The following night, Tight End University, the organization co-founded by Travis, who plays for the Kansas City Chiefs, and San Francisco 49ers star George Kittle, hosted a party at Public Works with Sports Illustrated.
Among the celebrities who attended include DJ duo Loud Luxury and fashion designer Kristin Juszczyk, wife of Niners fullback Kyle Juszczyk.

The San Francisco 49ers tight end and actor Adam Devine – known for roles in HBO hits “Silicon Valley” and “The Righteous Gemstones” – were spotted on the city’s waterfront Wednesday afternoon for a pop-up a cappella performance. Videos of the impromptu show outside of the Ferry Building, quickly circulated on social media, showing Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson and Philadelphia Eagles offensive tackle Jordan Mailata joining Kittle and Devine as they harmonize with Devine’s “Pitch Perfect” group, the Treblemakers.

The game day artists made an appearance at Moscone Center in San Francisco for an Apple Music press conference, which was also livestreamed on social media, on Thursday, Feb. 5. They each spoke about the significance of their game day performances at Levi’s Stadium, explaining how they’re preparing and how they plan to make the performance uniquely theirs.
