Speaking of their separation in 2013, the Aussie beauty said, “From day one, Orlando and I had done a lot of spiritual work, and forgiveness was a big part of that, forgiving each other, forgiving ourselves, creating peace within the situation.
“And we both knew that the relationship was not bringing out the best in each other,” she added.
She said she told the British actor that she wanted to prioritize their son needs first.

“But at the same time, let’s make sure that we completely forgive each other,” Kerr added. “Make peace with each other, otherwise it really weighs on you. And having that animosity towards someone else because they didn’t live up to your expectations is very draining.”
The model was first introduced to Bloom through fellow Victoria’s Secret Angel Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, according to the Daily Mail. The two dated in 2007 and were married in 2010.

The supermodel is now married to Snap Inc. CEO and co-founder Evan Spiegel, with whom she shares three sons: Hart, 7, Myles, 5, and 23-month-old Pierre.
Bloom moved on, dating pop star Katy Perry in 2016, before the two split last year. The two share daughter Daisy, 5.
Speaking of her current relationship with her ex, Kerr said she tries to keep things peaceful for everyone.
“When you have a child with someone else, they’re always going to be that person’s parent for the rest of their life, and there are going to be situations when you’re going to need to talk if you like it or not.
“So why not make it harmonious? Why not make it more peaceful?” she added.
