AMRITSAR: In accordance with the decision of the Inquiry Committee to ban videos and other content that are being made against the dignity and honor of Sikhism through the misuse of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology, Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami has constituted a sub-committee of experts with experience in the field of AI and Internet.
Giving information in this regard, SGPC Secretary Pratap Singh said that videos and other content that hurt Sikh sentiments through artificial intelligence are continuously increasing on social media, to stop which, the Inquiry Committee had decided to constitute a sub-committee consisting of legal and expert personalities working in this field.
S. Pratap Singh said that this committee formed by Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami, President of the Shiromani Committee, includes Dr. Harjinder Singh Sandhu America, S. Harmeet Shah Singh UK, Dr. Sarabjot Singh UK, Dr. Sarpreet Singh Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University Sri Fatehgarh Sahib, Dr. Gurpal Singh Khalsa College Patiala, Dr. Jagdeep Singh Malhi Guru Nanak Engineering College Ludhiana, Dr. Satinderpal Singh Guru Nanak Engineering College Ludhiana. The coordinator of this committee will be S. Karamveer Singh, System Administrator of the Shiromani Committee.
Secretary S. Pratap Singh said that this sub-committee will also work to establish contacts with leading AI technology companies to stop the content being propagated on social media against Sikhism using AI technology.
