Trending Now: This entertainment story covers the latest buzz, reactions, and updates surrounding Trending Now: Katie Price sparks further worry as she resembles a ‘stick woman’ in meet up with pals – Fans React..
Katie’s friend Lewis Nicholls has shared a snap with the former model after she returned from her quickie Dubai wedding.
Katie Price has been noticed to be looking frail in a new snap with a friend since her return from Dubai earlier this week. In a new post where Katie can be seen snuggled up with her pal Lewis Nicholls, he made the point to clarify that he is not Katie’s new husband.
The former glamour model announced last weekend that she was engaged to Dubai-based businessman Lee Andrews. Despite only knowing each other for a week, the new couple got hitched just a few hours later.
Upon returning to the UK, without her new beau, Katie has been spending time with family and catching up with her pals, all of whom weren’t in attendance at the nuptials. However, fans have become concerned as a snap uploaded on Instagram shows Katie looking thinner than ever.
The 47-year-old has acknowledged her weight loss, referring to herself as a “stick woman”. While Katie has stated she has “always been tiny”, at the end of last year she was seen to have undergone lymphatic drainage and sculpting treatment on her stomach, which has accentuated her small waist, reports the Mirror.
Lewis Nicholls took to Instagram today (February 1) to share a snap of himself and Katie after enjoying a roast dinner. The mum-of-five is seen to be leaning on her friend while keeping her new wedding ring on show.
The post was captioned: “Reunited. lovely to be invited for a roast dinner with Mike at my lovely friend Katie’s. It’s actually nice to see her so happy and loving life and not gonna lie that ring is beautiful.” In the comments section, Lewis also went on to clarify: “FYI I’m not Lee. I’m a friend.”
While concern for Katie’s health rose in the comments section, the podcaster has been clear in the past that she has not been using “fat jabs” to shed the pounds.
Speaking on the Disruptors podcast, she said: “I don’t need the Ozempic… I’ve always been skinny.” However, she has noted that she has been to visit the doctors after her mum Amy pestered her to seek medical help.
Opening up on her podcast, The Katie Price Show, she said: “Yes. I’m going in there to talk about blood tests, MRI, everything she wants me to have to get to the bottom of why the Price is – forget stick man – stick woman.”
Concern about both Katie’s physical and mental health has also come from her family, who are also trying to provide support. A source told the Mirror: “They do share their concerns with Kate and have open, honest conversations with her about how she’s feeling – including her mental health and her weight loss.”
Katie also spoke to her sister Sophie on their podcast about the pictures that emerged of the star when she was out shopping with her daughter Princess is Selfridges. Upon seeing the snaps, Katie shares that she was “horrified” by what she saw.
Starting the conversation, Sophie asked: “Shall we have a little chat about those pictures with you and Princess at Selfridges because that seems to be doing the rounds everywhere at the minute?”
Katie responded: “First of all we didn’t see a photographer, it was p**sing down with rain and we were running to the train. When I saw them pictures I was horrified, they’ve doctored them pictures. My face don’t look bad like that. I know I look gaunt but Jesus. But yeah I look like I’m ill – hence why I’m going to the doctors tomorrow.”
Sophie then asked: “What is the actual truth behind it?” Katie replied: “I know what you family say to me and it’s not what the papers are saying.
“We all know that we’re trying to sort it all out and as soon as I know then I’ll let everyone know. But because I look so bad it’s had an influence and I’ve had filler put in my face which I didn’t want to do.”
Katie added: “I just wanna put on weight, I really do but I’m just not. Everyone knows I eat – I eat everything that I want, I’ve never had a problem with what I eat.”
