Health Update: Health Update: Five-Day Faculty Development Programme on ‘Health and Health and Wellness’ Concludes at NUSRL Ranchi – What Experts Say– What Experts Say.
Ranchi: The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the National University of Study and Research in Law (NUSRL), Ranchi successfully organised a five-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Health and Health and Wellness” from 27 to 31 January 2026 at the university campus.
The programme was conducted in collaboration with The Art of Living Foundation and the Jharkhand State Faculty Development Agency (JSFDA), with the aim of promoting well-being, mental clarity, emotional balance, and work-life harmony among faculty and staff.

Over the course of five days, participants experienced a structured blend of yoga, guided breathing practices, Sudarshan Kriya, meditation, light physical exercises, and reflective discussions focusing on happiness, responsibility, self-awareness, confidence-building, and the purpose of life.
The sessions were conducted by Dr. Sree Rajeev Nambiar, Programme Director, The Art of Living Foundation, along with Ms. Ria Tayal, Yoga Trainer, who guided participants through practical techniques to enhance mindfulness, inner stability, and personal effectiveness. Interactive group exercises helped participants overcome hesitation, strengthen interpersonal connections, and cultivate a positive outlook.
The programme concluded on the final day with yoga and Sudarshan Kriya, followed by experience sharing and certificate distribution. The valedictory session was attended by Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Ashok R. Patil, along with Dr. Sree Rajeev Nambiar, Ms. Ria, and Mr. Vishal and Mr. Ramesh Singh, Project Coordinators, JSFDA.
Addressing the gathering, the Vice-Chancellor highlighted that yoga and meditation provide energy, motivation, and mental clarity, which are essential for both personal growth and a healthy academic environment. He also appreciated the support and contribution of JSFDA and The Art of Living Foundation in making the programme a success.

The FDP concluded on a positive and enriching note, equipping participants with practical tools for stress management, self-awareness, and sustained well-being.
