Vanessa Hudgens’ husband Cole Tucker just revealed the gender of the baby they welcomed two months ago – as well as the sex of their first child.

Now, fans of the High School Musical actress, 37, and former MLB star, 29, will know that when it comes to their two children, the celebrity couple are famously private.

The duo welcomed their first child together in July 2024 and their second little one came along in November of last year.

However, as we say, Hudgens and Tucker have opted to keep their children entirely out of the spotlight and haven’t released their names, any photos of them, or even their genders.

Announcing the birth of their second child two months ago, Hudgens took to Instagram to share a photo of her in a hospital bed, holding hands with her hubby, who was behind the camera.

She penned in the caption: “Well…. I did it. Had another baby!!! What a wild ride labor is. Big shout out to all the moms. It’s truly incredible what our bodies can do.”

And now, Tucker has finally revealed some details about the couple’s expanding family.

The sports star appeared on the ‘Baseball Isn’t Boring’ podcast earlier this month on January 14, where he revealed that his eldest is a little boy and youngest is a baby girl.

Host Rob Bradford asked whether the couple had sons or daughters and Tucker responded with: “[We have] one of each.”

Joking about the challenges of parenting two young kids, he added: “I got [kids who are] 7 weeks and a year-and-a-half right now. I’m in the fight.”

He added: “I’m doing a lot of dad walks, a lot of up-and-down incline, like, a sled push. I feel like I’m in pretty good shape for a dad right now. I’m in great dad shape, a lot of hands and knees. I feel like I’m doing yoga-adjacent type things.”

Tucker also talked about some of his young son’s hobbies and how he will always support him no matter what career he chooses.

He explained: “I want him to do whatever he wants to do, but my wife and I want to expose him to as much as we can. He was born on July 1st last year, and he [already] plays the drums and the piano and the guitar and baseball.

“He hits the ball off the tee, and he swings golf clubs and hits the ball – and he’s shooting hoops, now. He loves basketball.”

Tucker continued: “We just want to show him everything and whatever he wants to do, we’ll support him. [If he wants] to be a dentist, sell something, be a school teacher [or] a rock star, it’s all good. We’re very open-minded.

“I don’t want [my son] to feel like he has any pressure to be a baseball player.”

The sports star assured: “I don’t want him to feel, like, “[I] have to go to the big leagues [because] Dad did’. That pressure and anxiety would suck, but if you want to, let’s go.”
