We’re just hours away from The Traitors grand final, and it really could be anyone’s game at this point. Fans of the show have expressed that they’d like Scotsman Stephen Libby to win the series. His iconic facial expressions and fashionable dress sense has catapulted him in the lead with fans of the show.

Throughout the series the finalist has remained present on social media, posting memes and reaction videos of his friends watching him on the show. Eagle eyed Tik Tok users noticed in one the videos posted on the platform that Stephen has a famous friend.

One of his friend’s posted a video of the group discovering that Stephen was a Traitor for the first time, but the comments were flooded with questions about his famous pal Lou Sanders. For the latest TV and showbiz gossip sign up to our newsletter

In the video Lou looked utterly stunned, placing her hand over her mouth in disbelief that her friend had been revealed as a Traitor.

Comedian and actress Lou recently featured in Amazon Prime’s Last One Laughing, triumphed in the eighth series of Taskmaster in 2019 and is a familiar face on Would I Lie to You? and 8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown.

Speculation surfaced online suggesting Lou might be the landlord for Stephen and his actor partner Daniel Quirke.

One commenter noted: “Stephen’s landlord is Lou Sanders so he’s certainly got some connections that could help him launch a career from the show.”

Daniel swiftly addressed the speculation, stating: “Can confirm she is not our landlord, just a friend of ours.”

The cyber security specialist appears to have several connections within the entertainment world through his partner Daniel.

His boyfriend counts numerous actors among his circle of friends, including Lydia West who is known for her roles in It’s A Sin and Big Mood.

Fans will discover the players’ fate in the grand finale tonight, Friday, January 23. But with the end of the game in sight, the Online Betting Guide has revealed which player is likely to win the series.

Traitor Stephen has the highest probability of taking home the cash prize, with 4/5 odds. Trailing behind him are Jade, with 2/1 odds, and Jack and Faraaz with 3/1 odds.

Meanwhile, fan favourite Rachel and gardener James have the lowest odds of winning at 5/1.

BBC viewers have shared similar predictions online, with many claiming (or at least hoping) that Stephen will reign victorious if Rachel is banished by the Chests of Chance.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one wrote: “The BBC leaving us on a cliff-hanger, if Rachel goes it pretty much gives Stephen a free ride to win it.”

While another agreed: “With Rachel unfortunately in danger no matter what happens with that cliff-hanger I need Stephen to go on an Alan Carr trajectory of having to lose his fellow Traitor before the end of the game to win in the end on his own.”

While a third said: “Can’t wait for The Traitors final tonight, Stephen to win for me. Going to be good though.”

You can watch the The Traitors final tonight, Friday, January 23 on BBC One and BBC iPlayer from 8.30pm.
