Brooklyn Beckham has taken another subtle swipe at his parents, David and Victoria Beckham.
Brooklyn Beckham has stuck to his guns, doubling down on his scathing statement as the bitter feud with his parents continues. The 26-year-old released a tell-all statement on Monday (January 19) where he was highly critical of his parents, David and Victoria Beckham.
In it, Brooklyn claimed that the “Brand Beckham comes first” and slammed his famous parents for controlling the narrative about him and his wife Nicola Peltz in the media. He claimed he had received “endless attacks” from both his parents and various family members.
He wrote: “Since the moment I started standing up for myself with my family, I’ve received endless attacks from my parents, both privately and publicly, that were sent to the press on their orders.
“Even my brothers were sent to attack me on social media, before they ultimately blocked me out of nowhere this last Summer … My family values public promotion and endorsements above all else. Brand Beckham comes first.
“Family ‘love’ is decided by how much you post on social media, or how quickly you drop everything to show up and pose for a family photo op even if it’s at the expense of our professional obligations.”
He continued: “We’ve gone out of our way for years to show up and support at every fashion show, every party, and every press activity to show ‘our perfect family!’ But the one time my wife asked for my mum’s support to save displaced dogs during the LA fires, my mum refused.”

Speaking about how his relationship has been portrayed by some, he said: “The narrative that my wife controls me is completely backwards. I have been controlled by my parents for most of my life. I grew up with overwhelming anxiety.”
It now seems Brooklyn has made it clear that his feelings won’t change after making a subtle change, the Mirror reports. The amateur chef has changed his profile picture on social media to a photo of his neck tattoo, which features Nicola’s eyes, in what seems like a nod to where his feeling lie going forward.
He accused his parents of trying to “ruin” his relationship with Nicola from the get go, and things only seemed to get worse by the time they tied the knot in 2022.
Additionally Brooklyn claimed that his fashion mogul mother pulled out of creating a dress for Nicola “at the eleventh hour” leaving her without a dress. He also alleged that his “parents repeatedly pressured and attempted to bribe me into signing away the rights to my name, which would have affected me, my wife, and our future children”.
He also claimed Victoria tried to “hijack” his wedding and took centre stage during what was supposed to be his first dance with his new wife, dancing on him “inappropriately”.
David Beckham spoke out for the first time yesterday (January 20) during an interview for CNBC’s Squawk Box.
In the interview the footballer spoke about the “mistakes” his children have made on social media – although he did not directly address the situation with his eldest son. He said: “I have always spoken about social media and the power of social media .. For the good and for the bad.
“What kids can access these days, it can be dangerous. But what I have found personally, especially with my kids as well – use it for the right reasons. I’ve been able to use my platform for my following, for UNICEF. And it has been the biggest tool to make people aware of what’s going on around the world for children.
“And I have tried to do the same with my children, to educate them. They make mistakes, but children are allowed to make mistakes. That is how they learn. That is what I try to teach my kids. You sometimes have to let them make those mistakes as well.”
