Members Only Palm Beach star Gale Brophy has taken to Instagram to issue a statement to fans

The drama-packed reality show Members Only Palm Beach launched on Netflix in December, bringing audiences into the lives of five affluent women vying for status and power in one of the planet’s most elite zip codes.

Social scene veteran Gale Brophy has emerged as one of the program’s standout personalities since it dropped, even though she plays a secondary role. Across the season she’s seen guiding one of the primary cast members, Rosalyn Yellin, through the ins and outs of high society success.

She becomes embroiled in her share of confrontations, including a clash with property developer Hilary Musser who challenges the authenticity of the Palm Beach ‘Grande Dame. ‘ This leads Gale to face her down with a pile of magazine features about herself, including several where she appears on the cover.

Yet, it seems the on-screen conflict has been bleeding into actual life, with Gale posting a detailed statement on Instagram following claims of a dispute with her co-star, Taja Abitbol.

The rumored conflict apparently kicked off after Taja allegedly had Gale “removed” from her celebration for their new Netflix series. Gale, meanwhile, claimed that she had been treated “roughly” during her exit and dismissed rumors that she had been “intoxicated” at the gathering, reports the Mirror.

The entrepreneur has now made it clear that she won’t be adding any fuel to the fire regarding her supposed feud with Taja, as she shared in a detailed Instagram post. She started off by saying: “Since the Members Only: Palm Beach premiere on Netflix, there’s been a lot of press – and not just about the show itself.”

She went on to clarify: “What I want to clarify is this: the narrative changed, and it wasn’t changed by me. Multiple media outlets and eyewitnesses have reported that what was first suggested publicly did not align with what actually happened. That’s why the story has continued to evolve.

“Several reports have described the situation as a rookie mistake – an attempt to ice someone out of press and filming when attention wasn’t landing where expected. Commentators and witnesses have openly questioned whether jealousy played a role, noting that the move ultimately backfired, creating the opposite impression of what was intended.

“I didn’t come to compete for attention. I showed up as myself – calm, respectful, and gracious. The cameras followed on their own. The press followed the facts. And the images spoke louder than any statement.”

She concluded: “I won’t engage in name-calling or drama. I don’t need to. When the coverage, photos, and firsthand accounts all point in the same direction, the truth tends to reveal itself – and the public decides.

“I’ll continue moving forward with dignity, letting my character speak louder than controversy.”

Apart from her reality TV stardom, Gale is the CEO and proprietor of a real estate firm, managing two five-star properties touted as an alternative retreat to The Hamptons. Prior to this venture, she held high-ranking roles in several profitable businesses spanning finance, PR, and notably, horse racing.
