Kylie Jenner was the star of Timothée Chalamet’s speech at the Critics’ Choice Awards, but she wasn’t as much of a focus when he took home an award at the Golden Globes

Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner shared plenty of moments at the Golden Globes, with some of them picked up by a lip reader.

In a variety of clips, the pair can be seen in loving, affectionate exchanges. Plus, Timothée was blown away throughout the evening as the actor took home a top prize. Some of the night was decoded by a lip reader, who could tell exactly what the power couple was saying in their private moments, including a tense moment that seemed to include a bit of a fight.

Right away, Timothée, who was caught in awkward moment with Kylie, was stunned by the turnout and energy of the event. After exiting his vehicle, he said, “Today is swarming isnt it,” before proceeding to the red carpet. While photos were being snapped of him, he made a bold statement. “This is crazy,” he said, according to lip reader Nicola Hickling who decoded this moment as well as the moment JLo lost her cool for The Mirror US.

The actor snagged a win during the ceremony, taking home Best Actor – Motion Picture Musical or Comedy for his role in Marty Supreme. He took the stage to give an acceptance speech. Surprisingly, he barely mentioned Kylie, a turn from the gushing comments he made at the Critics’ Choice Awards.

Nonetheless, when he returned to his seat, Kylie, who received questionable reviews about her behavior, expressed her support for her boyfriend. During a commercial break, cozying up real close to each other, they had a candid conversation. The New York native wrapped his arm around her lower back as they leaned in close to speak. “It was pretty,” Kylie said, adding, “I love you.”

Plus, she expressed her support for Timothée, telling him, “When you went up there, I was clapping, you are amazing.”

During the show, references to his ping pong stardom were made with laughter spreading through the audience. When the cameras dipped to Timothée and Kylie to intro a bit, the Kardashian royalty said, “Woah.” Although the microphones couldn’t pick up on it, Timothée allegedly nodded his head while saying, “Let me win this one.”

Host Nikki Glaser then went on with her joke, saying from stage, “What a dedicated performance you gave, it was incredible. This is interesting. Not a lot of people know this but, Timothée Chalamet is the first actor in history to have to put on muscle for a movie about ping pong. This is true. You gained over 60 ounces.”

Another moment of the couple was interrupted by a total A-lister. After Timothée told Kylie, “I love you,” and Kylie replied with the same, they gave each other a few kisses.

Kylie whispered in his ear as they snuggled up. However, Kylie then spotted Elle Fanning, who made her way over the couple. Elle, who is set to play Effie Trinket in Sunrise on the Reaping, told the couple, “I just want to give you hugs and wished this for you.”
