Hollywoods hottest couple may have finally put those “showmance” rumors to rest with a sweet move at this weekend’s Golden Globe Awards.

The 28-year-old beauty mogul attended the annual awards ceremony to support her 30-year-old Hollywood actor boyfriend, who won the Best Actor in a Drama Film award for his portrayal of a table tennis champion in the sports film Marty Supreme. During his acceptance speech, Timothée thanked all those who had supported him, including his parents and his girlfriend, saying he felt “grateful” for what he had achieved.

However, despite a series of love-up moments, from a kiss on the ad break, and flirty comments to each other throughout the night.

However, one behind-the-scenes moment appears to have thrown fans off. In the clip, making the rounds on social media, Kylie, who looked sensational in a figure-hugging gold dress, was followed by her boyfriend as he tenderly grabbed her buttocks and lower waist.

Fans were left gushing over the rather romantic moment on X, and it turns out, despite what many think, this was a genuine moment between the couple according to body language expert Darren Stanton.

Speaking on behalf of OLBG, Darren exclusively told the Mirror US, “Their body language all signifies affection and emotional closeness. A hug from behind, where he was putting his hands around her waist, suggests comfort, fondness/love and emotional security.”

Adding of the couple, who are constantly bashing off rumors their relationship is a showmance, the expert continued, “It’s often seen in romantic or intimate relationships because it’s a vulnerable position that implies trust, protection, and reassurance.

“From a body language perspective, this gesture generally means something like ‘I’ve got your back or you can trust me. I don’t think there is any doubt that this is a very deep relationship and is not just a showbiz hook-up as we so regularly see,'” Darren claimed.

He went on, “Timothee seems a very humble and respectful guy, so I don’t think he is capable of that. Although he wants to be successful, he has a moral code and prioritises Kylie above all else.

“We can often see them sitting together at events, and although the room is packed and people all around, they almost seem to carry their own force field with them.”

Darren concluded his analysis saying, “There is an intensity between them shown by their symmetrical posture -matching and mirroring each other, and when they engage in eye contact as they often do, it’s as if the rest of the room or world does not exist. They are deeply connected.”

However, some trolls still aren’t buying these so-called romantic displays of love. Taking to X, one user slammed, “Madly in love or they want to show themself they are madly in love…let’s see.”

“They trying to sell us this relationship so bad,” someone else echoed, with a third chiming in, “One word: PERFORMATIVE.”
