Islamabad: The global journal “Carolina Political Review” has said that in 2025, Pakistan regained an important place in world politics and the Pak-India tension in May strengthened Pakistan’s defence capability and reputation.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the global journal wrote in a report that Pakistan restored Washington’s trust through effective diplomacy and gave a new direction to relations. It said the US declared Pakistan a key bridge in accessing South Asia, the Gulf and Central Asia. The US also gave Pakistan’s geographical importance a central position, the journal said, adding Pakistani ports, especially Gwadar in Balochistan, are a great asset.
The global journal said that Pakistan had opened new economic routes by maintaining multilateral balance with China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

According to the journal, the recent change in US-Pakistan relations has attracted the attention of media around the world and the United States had to take an active role in defusing the Pak-India tension.
