Katy Perry and former Canadian PM Justin Trudeau have already crossed that threshold. So, what comes after? Well, integrating the families. And with Trudeau and Perry both having children, this especially means the kids have to meet.

Are they at that point yet? Reportedly, yes. The National Enquirer reports that the two have already introduced their kids. The two are “crazy about each other,” an insider claimed, adding, “This isn’t a fling.”

“Katy’s daughter, Daisy, has spent time around Justin. And his three kids — Xavier, Ella-Grace, and Hadrien — have met Katy,” a source shared. “It was warm. It was easy. The kids clicked instantly.”

Earlier reports had indicated that Perry was helping Trudeau’s son, Xavier, with his music career. This comes after the teen released a rap video that was widely criticize

“Katy told him point-blank that every artist gets dragged. She wanted him to know she understands exactly how it feels,” a source told Rob Shuter’s Shuterscoop. Another insider added, “[Perry] connected him with producers and told him to keep working. She wants him to take the criticism seriously, but not personally.”

“She’s there as support, not a manager. She listens to his demos, but she also tells him when something doesn’t work… He feels safer with her in his corner.”

It’s very good news considering the reports about Trudeau and Perry. “They both have this sparkle. It’s like they recognize something in each other.”

Rumors of Trudeau and Perry’s romance started very soon after the singer broke up with her ex-fiancé, Orlando Bloom, in July 2025. The two were then spotted having dinner together. It took a few months, but in October 2025, the two seemingly confirmed that they were a couple when they were seen holding hands outside the Crazy Horse in Paris for Perry’s birthday.

It’s been an adjustment for the family unit, for sure, and that includes Justin Trudeau’s ex. On the podcast “Arlene is Alone,” Trudeau’s ex-wife Sophie Grégoire spoke candidly about how her former husband’s relationship with Perry had changed things for her. “You know, we’re human beings and stuff affects us. Normal,” Grégoire explained. “How you react to stuff is your decision. So, I choose to try to listen to the music instead of the noise.”

Grégoire and Trudeau announced their divorce in August 2023. Grégoire also spoke about how she deals with the very public speculation, saying she’s “very aware that a lot of public stuff out there can be triggers.”

“What I do with it is my decision,” she added.” The woman I want to become through this is my decision.”

Feels like a very mature outlook as Perry and Trudeau continue taking steps towards merging their families. The kids seem to already be in. Justin Trudeau’s ex seems to be taking it well. Now the question is, what about Orlando Bloom? How does he feel?
