Health Update: Health Update: Salford City partner with leading health and wellness retailer – What Experts Say– What Experts Say.
Salford City Football Club has announced a new partnership with health and wellness retailer Holland & Barrett.
The deal will see Holland and Barrett become the front-of-shirt sponsor for Salford City’s academy teams until the end of the season.
As the first team aims to earn promotion to League One for the first time in the club’s history, Holland & Barrett will supply the Salford City squad with products to aid performance and recovery.
According to Salford City, more than 120 young academy players will benefit from the partnership.
Ronan Joyce, Chief Business Officer, Salford City Football Club, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Holland & Barrett to the Salford City family.
“They’re a renowned brand within their field, a staple on UK high streets, and their affirmation for health and wellbeing is something we at the Club are fully behind.
“This partnership further underlines our ambitions as we strive to provide the best support for our players and staff, on and off the field.”
Guy Farmer, Chief Commercial Officer at Holland & Barrett, said: “We’re thrilled to partner with Salford City Football Club as their Official Wellness Partner.
This collaboration represents an important step in our mission to make health and wellness a way of life for everyone, adding quality years to life.
By supporting the Club’s first team and Academy players with our products, we’re demonstrating our commitment to performance, recovery and holistic wellbeing at every level of the game.
We look forward to engaging with the Salford City community and inspiring fans to prioritise their health and wellness journey.”
Salford City hope the partnership will give them an edge in a tightly-contested race for Promotion. The Ammies sit sixth in League Two and will aim to close the gap against Harrogate Town on 26 December, 3pm kick-off at the Peninsula Stadium.
