Deloitte India has expanded its partnership with Google Cloud to offer AI-powered cybersecurity solutions aimed at strengthening digital security for businesses and government bodies across India.

Deloitte India on Wednesday announced an expansion of its collaboration with Google Cloud to deliver AI-powered cybersecurity solutions, as organisations across India face increasingly complex digital threats and regulatory pressures.

Under the expanded partnership, Deloitte India and Google Cloud will help clients design and operate modern Security Operations Centres (SOCs), migrate legacy systems to the cloud, and adopt security-as-a-service models. The initiative aims to improve threat detection and response, enhance visibility across security systems, and reduce reliance on large in-house cybersecurity teams.

According to Deloitte India, the collaboration addresses multiple challenges confronting Indian organisations, including an AI-enabled threat landscape, rising expectations around data localisation and regulatory compliance, a shortage of skilled cybersecurity professionals, and fragmented security tools that limit operational effectiveness.

Anand Tiwari, Partner at Deloitte India, said the partnership is designed to provide an integrated, cloud-native security operations approach that uses artificial intelligence to defend against AI-driven cyber threats, consolidate security data, and deliver managed security services at scale.

The solutions will also support organisations in meeting regulatory and compliance requirements. The partnership covers observability, threat monitoring, and incident management aligned with Indian and global regulations, including those issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDA), the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA), and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Deloitte India said the collaboration is aimed at helping both public and private sector organisations modernise their cybersecurity infrastructure while ensuring compliance with evolving data protection and governance frameworks.
